I’m Cortnie Bru Rosenhaft, a veteran English educator with more than 21 years of experience helping students develop their writing, critical thinking, and authentic voice. Before entering education, I worked in marketing and sales—experience that continues to inform my understanding of communication, narrative, and thoughtful positioning.

Throughout my career, my work has centered on reflection, clarity, intellectual curiosity, and meaningful storytelling. That same philosophy guides my college counseling practice today.

I work with a limited number of students each year in order to provide highly personalized, relationship-based support throughout the college admissions process. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply individualized—with an emphasis on authentic self-understanding rather than performance or packaging.

There are no templates, outsourced editing services, or one-size-fits-all formulas. Instead, I help students clarify who they are, articulate what matters most to them, and communicate their experiences with honesty, confidence, and depth.
